Action Research Plan
I think this is the format for which our research plan should be posted. If its not hopefully its close enough that everyone understands what will be going on.

This is awesome Steven! I think your plan has great potential for expanding to other school districts other than your own. I know that my old school would have benefited immensely from something like this. Everyone knows that safety is a huge issue, but people get so caught up in the day-to-day grind on leadership in a school district that nothing gets done. Likewise, I think schools still have the mentality that, "that couldn't happen in my school." Usually, by the time a plan like this comes about, something has happened and it's to late to prevent. Good luck in your research!
ReplyDeleteI love that you are doing a research plan on safety. Better to plan and be safe than sorry! We recently did a lockdown drill and even though we had all practiced what to do a problem came up with my room. The teacher next door and I have a partition between us. She was not in her room for the lockdown and so her door was not closed and locked. After the drill the two of us developed our own plan to make sure that we were safe. We would have never realized the problem had we not had the drill.
